Welcome Ms Mackenzie

Dear parents, carers and pupils,

Hello! My name is Miss Mackenzie and I will be working at Gainsborough for the coming year to cover Miss Clark’s maternity leave. I have enjoyed getting to know the school community so far and am looking  forward to meeting everyone.

I have worked for Primary Advantage for 11 years; as headteacher of De Beauvoir Primary School in Dalston for five years and at St Matthias in Stoke Newington for six years before that. I have known Miss Clark all this time and know how hard she works to make sure that

Gainsborough is the fantastic school it is. It is very important to me that this continues while she is on maternity leave!

I will be at the gate in the mornings and afternoons and look forward to meeting you if we haven’t met already.
