After School Clubs
Gainsborough offer a variety of After School Clubs from 3.30pm to 5.00pm Monday to Friday. After School Clubs are organised by Key Stages to ensure that your child/children get the best out of them. Clubs cost £4.00 per session and these clubs are charged per half term. When you sign your child up to one of our clubs, you are agreeing to a space in that club for the entire term, therefore, you will be asked to pay for the number of weeks that are included in that term. This means that the cost for clubs will vary from one half term to the next.
Gainsborough offers After School Club provision from 3.30pm to 5.00pm each day.
Children must be collected promptly at 5.00pm; those children who are persistently collected late will be refused entry and alternative wrap around care arrangement will need to be organised by the parent/carer.
Bookings
We have a termly booking system for breakfast club, after school clubs and play centre. All spaces are limited and should be booked and paid for in advance, at the main school office, to ensure that your child’s place is secured.
Parents are required to sign up for all of these clubs on termly basis; attendance does not automatically roll over from one term to the next. All booking forms are available from the main office.
Costs
From September 2024, there will be two separate charging rates for After School Club:
- EYFS After School Club (Nursery & Reception Pupils) – £5.00 per day
- School After School Club (Years 1 to 6) – £4.00 per day
Emergency Bookings (on the day)
Emergency After School Club is charged at a flat rate of £5.00 per child. per day; this charges covers the period from 3.30pm to 5.00pm.
