Annual General Meeting for FRoG’s
The FRoG’s AGM was held on Friday 6th December. During the meeting the following elections happened.
FRoG’s Chair – Faye, Vayda (Year 3) and Ozzy (Nursery Swans) parent

Joint Secretary – Leanne, Ronnie (Year 5) and Demi (Nursery Geese) parent and Frances, Shantay (Year 5), Dontay (Year 4), Destiny May (Year 3) and Kamari (Ducklings) parent
We would really value a family member from Reception, Year 1 and 2 so they can spread the work in their classes. The FRoG’s aim to meet to complete tasks to support the school every Friday from 2.30pm. Joining the FRoG’s does not mean you need to attend each week. It does mean you join a watsapp group and offer ideas, support and time to support the school events.
Please speak to Charlotte Harris or a FRoG’s parent if you would like to would like to join the group.

If you able to attend please email admin@gainsborough.hackney.sch.uk to join the waiting list and we will let you know on the day if there are spare tickets.
Christmas Jumper Day , Friday 13th December
Christmas Jumper Day is on Friday 13th December at Gainsborough. We will be selling our own Christmas jumpers from Friday 6th December in the school office, to raise money for the school.
Parents in Class and FRoG’s Christmas Party , Monday 16th December from 2.45pm
We are holding a parents in class event on Monday 16th December at 2.45-3.20pm. This event welcomes families into years 1 -6 to take part in some learning with the children in their classes. Families get a chance to complete an activity with the children and see what life is like in their classroom. These are not model lessons, or taught sessions, they are often a chance for children to complete something with their parents that they have been successful in already and a chance to do these things together. This parents in class will be seasonal decoration making!
After parents in class we will have our Annual FRoG’s Christmas party. This will be a traditional party with party games, activities, our community kitchen will be open for cooking activities, a younger children’s area, and there will be a fund raising raffle! The party will take place from 3.30-5.30pm. All families are welcome to come and celebrate the end of term with us.
