Day 5 at the Kench Hill residential centre. Team building! One tired group of Year 6 children returned to school today. They seemed older, wiser, bigger and bolder and we are incredibly proud of their positive attitude, bravery and ambition this week to embrace the new and be independent. They have represented our school brilliantly this week. Well done all!

Year 6 performed a scene from CS Lewis’ The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. They have studied the book as their writing stimulus, and considered informal and formal language. Year 6 Doves, you are incredible! 🎥 🍿 🎥

An incredible rendition of Romeo and Juliet from Year 6 today. Your stage presence, talented acting, nerves of steel and your bravery shone through today. We are beyond proud of you. 👏🏼

Years 3 and 6 buddied up to read together today for No Pens Day. The questions year 6 were able to ask were incredible and the year 3 children were hooked on their books! 📚

Year 6 Parents Meeting! Wednesday 29th November. All parents are expected to attend to find out about the process of SAT’s testing and how to support your child academically and emotionally. We will also be explaining the importance of school journey, the payment options and how you can support your child to make school journey a memorable experience. See you there!
