Year 2 went to London Zoo! This trip supports their science learning ‘Humans and other Animals.’ The children loved seeing a range of different animals and will now get to work classifying them, learning about their similarities and differences. #science #keepconnected

Year 2 compared desert and polar habitats in science today. 🌵 🐋 🐪 🧊 They learnt what features animals have to help them survive in the different habitats.

Year 2 presented an informative assembly about the achievements of Bessie Coleman and Amelia Earhart. We celebrated these female aviators and showed we have all the talent, determination and confidence to make our very own mark in this world. We also realised we need a much bigger stage to manage this amount of talent! Well done Year 2! 👏🏼 👏🏼 👏🏼

Year 2 story boxes. Year 2 have been reading The Snail and the Whale 🐳. We shared our story boxes with Nursery Geese class.

Year 2 walked the Great Fire of London as part of their history learning. They loved seeing St Paul’s in all its glory and learning about 1866.
